Now Hiring – Certified MIG Welder / Steel Fabricator!

A growing industrial manufacturing facility is looking for a skilled Certified Welder to join its fabrication team! This hands-on position is ideal for someone with experience in MIG welding, steel fabrication, rebar welding, and structural welding who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding (GMAW) on steel components, rebar, and anchoring studs.
• Fabricate and weld metal connections used in structural applications.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication specifications.
• Inspect welds for quality and make repairs as needed.
• Change welding wire and shielding gas when necessary.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on welding equipment.
• Use hand tools, including tape measures, hammers, and wrenches.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

• AWS D1.4 Welding Certification preferred; candidates with AWS D1.1 or other qualifying certifications may be considered.
• 1+ year of MIG welding experience preferred.
• Experience with SMAW (Stick Welding) is a plus.
• Previous steel fabrication or industrial welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read shop drawings and follow welding specifications.
• Basic knowledge of MIG welding equipment and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and weld quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 60+ lbs regularly.
• Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and moving throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment with high noise levels.
• Ability to follow all welding safety procedures and wear required PPE.
