Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable, hardworking Furniture Assemblers / Production Associates for a furniture and commercial seating company in Union County, NJ.

The ideal candidate will have experience assembling furniture, seating products, or other manufactured components. We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

Candidates with experience in furniture assembly, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or general production are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture, chairs, seating products, and related components according to instructions and specifications.

• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and secure parts.

• Install hardware, brackets, fasteners, and other components.

• Inspect finished products to ensure proper assembly, quality, and functionality.

• Read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and work orders.

• Assist with moving, organizing, and preparing materials for production.

• Identify damaged or defective parts and report quality concerns.

• Package and prepare completed products for storage or shipment.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Assist with additional warehouse and production duties as needed.

• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in furniture assembly, manufacturing, or production preferred.

• Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to follow assembly instructions and diagrams.

• Comfortable performing repetitive assembly tasks.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work.

• Ability to lift and move furniture components safely.

• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
