A growing aerospace and advanced manufacturing facility in Bertram, TX is hiring a skilled Quality Inspector III / Senior Quality Control Inspector!

This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys hands-on inspections, solving technical problems, and working with advanced manufacturing technology.

What You'll Do

• Perform detailed inspections on mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components and assemblies.
• Inspect precision-manufactured parts and equipment to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and quality control documentation.
• Develop and execute inspection plans to ensure products meet design, testing, and quality requirements.
• Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials, defects, and quality issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to investigate problems and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, and manufacturing documentation.
• Monitor production quality data, first-pass yield, and inspection trends.
• Ensure inspection tools, gauges, and measuring equipment are properly calibrated.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with product acceptance and compliance with internal and customer quality standards.
• Follow 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and workplace safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace, military, or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, GD&T, and quality control documentation.
• Experience working with aerospace quality standards or equivalent military, government, or industry standards.
• Strong understanding of technical instructions, inspection requirements, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing workloads, priorities, and production processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience applying quality assurance principles, inspection techniques, and quality control processes.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and specifications.
• Experience inspecting structural components, composite materials, electrical and avionics systems, or propulsion-related assemblies.
• Advanced ability to interpret engineering blueprints, GD&T, and Model-Based Definitions (MBD).
• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, or aerospace quality management systems.
• Familiarity with precision measurement equipment, inspection tools, and metrology processes.
• Experience with non-conformance reporting, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
• A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) License is a plus.
