Pay: $28.00+/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime & Weekends: Required as needed

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team in Bossier City, LA. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components on industrial production equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and control systems.
• Install wiring, conduit, electrical panels, motors, sensors, and power distribution systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues involving motors, transformers, relays, switches, drives, and electrical controls.
• Replace faulty electrical and electronic components, including circuit boards and control devices.
• Connect power supply wiring to machinery and production equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and plant safety protocols.
• Maintain maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to supervisors and production personnel.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical school certification, or equivalent electrical training preferred.
• Industrial electrical maintenance experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting motors, controls, relays, sensors, and industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, conduit installation, and power distribution systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, vibration, and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
