Deburring Laborer – First Shift

Location: High Point, NC
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Deburring Laborer for a local metal manufacturing company. This hands-on position involves removing sharp edges and finishing stamped and fabricated metal parts.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs and sharp edges from metal parts.

• Hang parts on hooks in a rotational shot blast cabinet, loading one side while parts on the other side are blasted with steel shot.

• Tumble parts in ceramic media to smooth edges and surfaces.

• Sand, buff, and wire brush parts as needed.

• Follow safety procedures and wear the provided protective equipment.

Qualifications & Work Environment

• Comfortable performing physically demanding, repetitive work.

• Able to work in conditions that may be dirty, wet, and/or noisy.

• Strong attention to detail when handling and finishing metal parts.

• Hearing protection, safety glasses/goggles, face masks, rubber gloves, and aprons provided.
