John Deere Turf Equipment Technician / Mechanic

Location: Snohomish County, WA
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
Pay: $30-$38/hour DOE
Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

Are you an experienced equipment mechanic with a strong background working on John Deere machinery? We're looking for a skilled Turf Equipment Technician to join a growing team that services and repairs equipment used by golf courses, sports complexes, and commercial properties throughout the area.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair John Deere turf equipment
• Set up and prepare new John Deere equipment for customer delivery
• Diagnose, repair, and set up a variety of allied turf equipment
• Travel to customer sites as needed to provide service and support
• Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Complete service paperwork and repair documentation
• Assist with shop organization, housekeeping, and property maintenance
• Work closely with the Service Manager to maintain workflow and customer satisfaction
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working on John Deere equipment
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Basic set of personal mechanic tools required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including hot, cold, wet, dry, and dusty conditions
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
