Counter Parts Sales Representative

Location: Lubbock TX
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Parts Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers at the service counter, process orders, manage inventory, and provide product expertise in a fast-paced wholesale or retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in electrical supply, HVAC, hardware, industrial supply, automotive parts, plumbing, or building materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers and contractors with product selection and purchases.
• Process sales orders, quotes, invoices, and returns accurately.
• Answer customer questions regarding product availability, pricing, and specifications.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Maintain inventory levels by receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Research and identify parts and products based on customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional counter area.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in counter sales, parts sales, inside sales, or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, hardware, industrial, or building material products is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory or point-of-sale systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
