Salary: 70K- 80K a year

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations and drive performance across receiving, picking, packing, fulfillment, staging, and shipping. This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse personnel, improving operational efficiency, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining high standards of productivity, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations

• Lead and supervise a warehouse team of approximately 25 employees through direct oversight and team leads.
• Assign daily workloads, monitor progress, and ensure operational goals are achieved.
• Conduct daily team meetings to communicate priorities, staffing needs, and operational updates.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while addressing performance concerns as needed.
• Build cross-training programs to ensure adequate coverage across key functions.

Workforce Planning & Performance Management

• Plan staffing levels based on workload, order volume, receiving activity, and shipping deadlines.
• Monitor labor utilization, attendance, productivity, and overtime.
• Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
• On-time shipments
• Order accuracy
• Inventory accuracy
• Throughput and productivity
• Safety performance
• Corrective action completion
• Recommend process and staffing improvements based on operational data.

Warehouse Systems & Process Management

• Lead warehouse operational activities related to Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation, optimization, and compliance.
• Ensure accurate scanning, inventory transactions, and location management procedures.
• Work closely with operations and systems teams to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Monitor compliance with established warehouse processes and procedures.

Fulfillment & Inventory Control

• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders across multiple sales channels.
• Oversee receiving, putaway, replenishment, returns processing, FIFO practices, and inventory controls.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper handling, scanning, and warehouse organization.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventories while partnering with inventory teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate effectively with production, supply chain, logistics, and inventory departments.

Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain warehouse standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Investigate recurring operational issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Improve warehouse layout, workflows, labor efficiency, and overall operational performance.
• Drive measurable improvements in accuracy, productivity, and service levels.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 5 years of warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment operations experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing warehouse teams and daily shipping operations.
• Proven success in labor planning, employee development, productivity improvement, and KPI management.
• Hands-on experience with WMS or ERP systems, including system implementation, process redesign, or adoption initiatives.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and operational metrics.

Preferred

• Experience supporting Amazon fulfillment, retail compliance, consumer products, or warehouse automation environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence.

Within the first 90 days, the Warehouse Manager will establish strong operational routines, improve team accountability, track key warehouse metrics, enhance inventory accuracy, and support ongoing warehouse systems initiatives while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
