Salary: 24-25/hr DOE

This position supports assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair of refrigeration and HVAC/R systems used in specialized mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  *   Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly techniques – must have 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  *   Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and service refrigeration and HVACR systems.

  *   Perform brazing, refrigeration piping, and basic electrical wiring.

  *   Operate refrigeration service equipment and diagnostic tools, including vacuum pumps, leak detectors, gauges, and electrical meters.

  *   Test and inspect systems to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with specifications.

  *   Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions to assemble and modify components.

  *   Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems while supporting production and engineering teams.

Require experience

  *   Working knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVACR equipment, and electrical systems.

  *   Ability to troubleshoot refrigeration systems ranging from approximately 1/6 ton to 15 tons.

  *   Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

  *   Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment

  *   Experience working with pneumatic and electrical assemblies.

  *   Experience using the following: Vacuum pumps, leak detectors, electronic gauge/manifold sets, electrical testing equipment, and hand and power tools
