Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician for one of our great clients in Woodstock, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to maintain, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Full-Time | Woodstock, GA | $26.00 / Hour Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete timely repairs to minimize production downtime
• Inspect equipment and systems regularly to identify and resolve potential issues
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks accurately and on schedule
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and improvement projects
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and facility repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation
• Communicate equipment issues and repair status with production teams and leadership
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently and prioritize urgent repairs
• A team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
• Experience supporting equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose industrial equipment failures
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, reach, and work in confined or elevated areas
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as needed
• Must be willing to complete a drug screen and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment
• Experience with motors, motor controls, sensors, relays, and VFDs
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs or CMMS software
• Experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
