Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Batching/Blending Assistant to join a local team! This position involves assisting with the batching, blending, and filling of syrups.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with measurements, following formulas, and handling raw materials. Accuracy and attention to detail are especially important, as using the wrong ingredient or an incorrect amount can result in costly mistakes.

You will receive guidance and training from an experienced team member, with the opportunity to develop the skills needed to work independently over time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with batching, blending, and filling syrups.

  • Measure and weigh liquid and solid raw materials according to established formulas.

  • Calculate and verify ingredient quantities to ensure accuracy.

  • Add ingredients to mixing tanks following proper procedures.

  • Follow instructions and production guidelines carefully.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow all applicable safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Basic math skills, including measuring, weighing, and calculating quantities.

  • Ability to follow formulas and written or verbal instructions.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Dependable, responsible, and willing to learn.

  • Ability to work under supervision while developing the skills to work independently.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including regularly lifting and handling ingredients weighing 55 pounds or more.

Schedule & Pay

  • Pay: $14.00 per hour

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • Work Location: In person
