Warehouse Associate

Located in Fairfield, NJ

Salary: $18.50

Job Description: Support the daily warehousing and distribution operations. Assist the Warehouse Team on various tasks to maintain a productive and safe working environment. 
1. Assist in building orders to ship out., Inspect order accuracy of coworkers to avoid incorrect built orders leaving the premises., Measure pallet dimensions to calculate volume and weigh pallets to help the logistics team get a proper quote per shipment and avoid reweight charges from carriers.
2. Make sure Ground and Ecommerce orders are shipped correctly and on time. Log tracking information.   Notify the Warehouse & Outbound Logistics Supervisor of any discrepancies with any order. 
3. Assist the Warehouse Team to load and/or unload trucks and containers. Make sure outgoing and incoming shipments have the correct items according to provided documents.
4. Maintain the warehouse area in a neat and orderly manner, ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all employees and possible visitors. Report to the Warehouse and Outbound Logistics Supervisor of any abnormalities noted in the facilities structure or any other potential irregularity that could represent a danger for the Company, its employees and/or others in the warehouse.
5. Make sure all equipment is properly handled and let the Warehouse & Outbound Logistics Supervisor know when tools and/or equipment is not working properly. By the end of the shift (or when otherwise not in use) make sure all equipment is turned off, locked out and put away to the designated location.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm (temp to perm)
Pay Rate: $18.50
