QC Specialist

Located in Moorpark, CA

Salary: $30.00 - $45.00

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily work activities of Quality and Masking Departments
• Ability to read and understand shop travelers and blueprints
• Ability to read and understand specifications
• Must know how to use hand tools
• 5 years relevant exp. required.
• Demonstrated computer abilities
• Evidence of proficiency in utilizing inspection hand tools
• Ability to calibrate various measuring and test equipment (XRF, Beta Backscatter)
• Understanding of basis material conditions and requirements
• Confirm knowledge of B/P and specification interpretation including sampling plans and requirements

 

QUALITY DEPARTMENT

• Review acceptance and documentation of incoming jobs
• Enforce the process requirements pursuant to the customer Statement of Work requirements
• Foresee incoming work to prevent and resolve process flow bottle-necks
• Assess testing and inspection requirements
• Verify completion of final inspections, certification review and shipping of jobs
• Review the requirements for calibration of test and measuring equipment
• Review Quality training and audit requirements
• Participate in the continuous improvement projects

PROCESSING DEPARTMENT

• Oversee performance of all plating and preparation personnel
• Participate in daily production meetings
• Oversee the processes are performed pursuant to the Customer Statement of Work
• Verify First Article inspection results
• Oversee maintenance of process equipment
• Review Process training and audit requirements

LABORATORY DEPARTMENT

• Oversee monthly testing schedules for timely results
