Junk Removal Team Member

Salary: 18.00-20.00

Our client, 1-800-GOT-JUNK in Swisher, IA is looking for Junk Removal Team Members!

 

Will be driving & doing junk removal – VALID DL REQUIRED

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, friendly, and exceptional customer service at customers' homes.
• Work as part of a two-person truck team to complete junk removal services.
• Drive to customer locations and safely position the truck in driveways or on the street.
• Evaluate removal jobs, assess items, document loads, and finalize pricing using a company-provided cell phone.
• Strategically load trucks, filling approximately 1/4 of the truck at a time.
• Confirm load information, close out customer sales, and update truck routes before heading to the next customer.
• Transport full truckloads to the landfill.
• Complete daily truck inspections and ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and ready for the day.
• Return to the shop, unload and clean the truck, and prepare for the next workday.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and a professional, personable attitude.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person team.
• Comfortable performing physical labor, lifting, loading, and moving items.
• Strong attention to detail and comfortable using a company-provided cell phone.
• Valid DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate, Form MCSA-5876) required.
• Steel-toe boots required.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Hours:

• Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Part-time opportunity with potential for permanent placement.

Pay:

• $18–$20 per hour.
