Local Delivery Driver

Salary: 20/hr

Our client is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Local Delivery Driver to support daily delivery operations. This position involves making local deliveries, unloading products at customer locations, completing delivery documentation, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, reliable, and enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on work.

Schedule : 8:00AM- 4:30PM

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles and follow all traffic laws
• Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner
• Unload and stack products at delivery sites
• Complete delivery documentation using electronic devices
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed
• Promote and maintain a safety-first environment
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Stay alert and focused while operating company vehicles

Requirements

• Valid state-issued Driver's License
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Previous route delivery or transportation experience 
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to use electronic devices for delivery documentation
• Ability to load, unload, and lift up to 50 lbs independently

Routes

• Local routes only
• Delivery areas include Crystal Lake, Chicago's South Side, and surrounding communities
• Home daily with no overnight travel required
