CNC Operator / Machinist

We are seeking a detail oriented CNC Operator/Machinist to join a growing team. This position is responsible for setting up tools, operating CNC equipment, inspecting parts, and producing quality components that meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Set up tooling and prepare machines for production runs
• Operate CNC mills and lathes safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and work instructions
• Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and tachometers
• Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work effectively both independently and within a team environment
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills
• Basic math skills, including measurements, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with intricate components
• Comfortable learning and using precision measuring tools
• Self motivated with the ability to work independently
• Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude
• Previous CNC or manufacturing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate

Individuals with hobbies or interests involving automotive repair, engines, fabrication, RC cars, motorcycles, machining, or other mechanical projects often excel in this role.
