Journeyman Ironworker | Day + Swing Shift

Phoenix, AZ | $33–$35/hour

Express Employment Professionals is hiring two Journeyman Ironworkers for a structural-steel construction project in North Phoenix. This assignment focuses on steel organization, material movement and load sequencing.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and organize steel in the laydown area.
• Move materials from the laydown area to the building.
• Sequence loads to support installation activities. 

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of ironworking experience, consistent with the related project posting.
• Scissor-lift certification required, subject to site verification.
• Ability to read steel drawings and identify material piece marks.
• Knowledge of safe rigging, material handling and radio/hand-signal communication.
• Comfortable working at heights and under strict safety requirements. 

Schedule

• Swing: 1:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.
• Day: 3:30AM - 2:00PM
• Rotation of two six-day workweeks followed by one five-day workweek.
