Certified Wire Welder | Day & Swing Shifts

Phoenix, AZ | $30–$35/hour

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Certified Wire Welders for a structural-steel construction project in North Phoenix. Openings include four day-shift and two swing-shift positions.

What You’ll Do

• Perform structural-steel welding, primarily shear tabs and moment welds.
• Prepare steel surfaces and set up welding equipment.
• Read steel drawings and follow project welding and safety requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Welding qualifications covering AWS D1.1, 3G/4G, SMAW and FCAW.
• Scissor-lift certification required, subject to site verification.
• Ability to read steel erection/shop drawings and work safely at heights.
• Welding continuity documentation for review. Candidates without accepted documentation must complete on-site testing before orientation is scheduled.

Schedule

• Day: 3:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
• Swing: 1:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.
• Rotation of two six-day workweeks followed by one five-day workweek.
