Job Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on railcars.
• Assist with replacing and repairing railcar components.
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs.
• Inspect railcars and identify areas needing repair.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform physical labor in an industrial environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous mechanical, industrial, welding, or railcar repair experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift 50lbs. regularly throughout the day 
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Must have a clear background and drug screen

 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting pay of $22.00 per hour.
