Pay: $16.00–$20.00/hour, based on experience
Shifts: 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, or 4:00 PM–7:00 PM

Job Description:
The Cook is responsible for preparing fresh, quality meals while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This position requires previous professional cooking experience, with a strong emphasis on scratch cooking and preparing meals using fresh ingredients.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and established menus.
• Prepare foods from scratch, including sauces, proteins, vegetables, sides, and other menu items.
• Complete food preparation, including chopping, measuring, seasoning, and portioning ingredients.
• Cook using grills, ovens, stovetops, fryers, and other commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately and consistently.
• Monitor food temperatures, quality, and portion sizes.
• Prepare meals in a timely manner for scheduled meal service.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food products.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and kitchen-safety procedures.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup and other duties as needed.

Requirements:
Must have previous cooking experience. Scratch-cooking experience is strongly preferred and should be verified during the screening process. Candidates should be comfortable preparing meals beyond simply reheating or serving pre-prepared foods.
