Salary: $30-$38/hr.
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a local manufacturing team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical and maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
Replace worn or damaged parts, bearings, belts, motors, and other components.
Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and modifications.
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Inspect equipment to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed work.
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO).
Work with production personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with motors, pumps, conveyors, and production machinery.
Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge preferred.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and technical diagrams.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Competitive pay of $30–$38 per hour, based on experience.
