Pay: $24.00/hour ($22.50 base pay + $1.50 overnight shift differential)
Schedule: Night Shift | 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Rotation: 4 Days On, 4 Days Off
Employment Type: Full-Time

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an Overnight Quality Assurance Technician for a leading food production facility in St. Ansgar, Iowa. What You'll Do

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet strict quality and food safety standards. Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting, testing, and approving products prior to shipment
• Analyzing and documenting incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Monitoring product quality to ensure specifications are consistently met
• Communicating quality concerns and corrective actions to production and management teams
• Maintaining accurate quality records and documentation
• Performing laboratory and production floor testing, including:
• Moisture Analysis
• Bulk Density Testing
• Absorption Testing
• Granulation Analysis
• Enzyme Level Determination
• Foreign Material Evaluation
• Supporting food safety and quality assurance initiatives
• Following all company safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred
• Previous quality assurance, laboratory, food manufacturing, or production experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and be trained on quality testing procedures
• Commitment to workplace safety and product quality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed
• Must remain attentive and focused throughout overnight work hours
• Capable of lifting, bending, and working in an industrial manufacturing environment
