Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join a local manufacturing team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and production equipment to support daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment and machinery.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment.
Identify electrical issues and determine appropriate repairs.
Install, maintain, and replace electrical components, wiring, motors, and controls.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper operation.
Follow all electrical safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO).
Document maintenance activities and report equipment issues.
Work with maintenance and production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
Previous electrical maintenance or electrical technician experience required.
Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, motors, and controls.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and lockout/tagout.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
Competitive pay of $35–$40 per hour, based on experience.
12-hour shifts available on 1st or 2nd shift.
