Medical Biller
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Medical Biller for a great medical office in Eureka! This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with insurance claims, payments, and confidential patient information.
Pay: $19–$21/hour
Location: Eureka, CA
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Submit medical claims to insurance companies accurately and on time
- Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims
- Research claim issues and assist with appeals when needed
- Process and post incoming payments
- Review billing information for accuracy and completeness
- Follow established billing guidelines, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
- Communicate professionally with insurance companies and internal staff
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous medical billing or healthcare office experience preferred
- Familiarity with insurance claims, billing, or payment processing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer and data-entry skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication and follow-up skills
- Dependable and able to work well in a busy medical office environment
