Superintendent - Direct Hire

Express is looking for a ROOFING SUPERINTENDENT for an established roofer in Stuart, FL


What They Will Do
- Oversee all active roofing jobs, crews, and subcontractors across multiple job sites
- Plan and schedule production, crews, materials, dumpsters, and inspections
- Review every job scope, EagleView report, blueprint, and engineering report before work begins
- Visit job sites daily to check workmanship, safety, and progress
- Make sure tile, shingle, and metal systems are installed to manufacturer specs and the Florida Building Code
- Keep accountability, waste, and material ordering on point and in step with the office
- Meet building inspectors on site and pass inspections the first time
- Control job costs, including tear-off, install, materials, and dumpsters, and hit our margin targets
- Track material orders and deliveries, and stop overages and waste
- Handle customer concerns on site in a professional, calm way
- Hire, train, and hold crew leads and subcontractors accountable
- Sign off on every completed job before final payment
- Keep before, during, and after photos and job notes up to date

What We Are Looking For
- At least 10 years of hands-on roofing field experience, preferably in both commercial and residential roofing
- Physically able to get on roofs and work in the field every day
- Deep knowledge of concrete tile, architectural shingle, and standing seam metal, including aluminum and Galvalume Snaplock
- Strong working knowledge of the Florida Building Code, inspections, nailing patterns, underlayments, and flashing details
- Proven experience running multiple crews and subcontractors at the same time
- Understands job costing, production schedules, and margins
- Can read and build from EagleView reports, scopes, blueprints, and architectural plans
- Can measure a roof accurately on their own
- Safety leader, with OSHA 30 preferred
- Honest, organized, reliable, detail oriented, and a strong communicator
- Military background is a plus
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
