Responsibilities

• Travel to commercial and industrial job sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair:
  • Overhead doors
  • Commercial doors
  • Loading dock equipment, including dock levelers, seals, and shelters
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspection programs on mechanical and electrical systems
• Respond to service requests and emergency repair calls as needed
• Diagnose equipment issues and recommend appropriate repairs
• Assess customer needs and provide excellent customer service on-site
• Complete accurate job tickets, service reports, and maintenance logs
• Communicate project updates, changes, and issues to management in a timely manner
• Maintain truck inventory and ensure necessary parts and materials are stocked
• Track parts usage and document inventory accurately
• Follow all company safety policies and customer site requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical repair, construction, maintenance, installation, or a related field preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions
