Salary: $24.00/hour
Express Employment Professionals is looking for an eager Level 1 Production Installer for a construction labour role in St. Catharines. This is a full-time, evaluation hire for someone with entry-level experience in the construction/insulation industry who can start as soon as possible. You will assist with the installation of insulation materials to walls, floors and ceilings of buildings and other structures, to prevent or reduce the passage of heat, cold, sound or fire. A valid G license and Working at Heights Certification are mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
- Load or unload construction materials
- Perform site clean-up
- Work at heights using scaffolds, ladders and lift equipment
- Deliver an exemplary customer experience
- Work independently or in small teams
- Operate and care for vehicles and equipment safely
- Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding
- Follow instructions from supervisors
- Learn from on-the-job training when necessary
- Assist in completion of daily work records and paperwork
- Assist in completion of required health and safety documentation
Skills for Success:
- Valid G license
- Working at Heights certification
- Entry-level experience in the construction/insulation industry
- Reliable and hardworking, ready to work a full day and be part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
- Comfortable with physical work, including standing, bending, kneeling, stretching and working in confined spaces
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, including in different weather conditions
- Good hand and mechanical skills, and comfortable learning to use hand and power tools
- Ability to reach above head to fit and fasten insulation into place
- Strong focus on health and safety
- Keeps work areas clean, organized and hazard-free
- Basic math and language literacy
- Problem-solving, reasoning and critical thinking skills
- Able to coordinate with crew members, suppliers, equipment operators and other tradespeople
- Professional and respectful when interacting with customers, suppliers and other trades
Wage: $24.00/hour
