Location: Gresham, OR
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–3:00 AM
Employment Type: Temporary-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Press Helper to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist press operators, monitor production quality, help with equipment changeovers, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities

• Review daily production priorities and job requirements.
• Verify job lineups and assist with setting up and hanging paper rolls.
• Monitor the press line and provide break coverage as needed.
• Prepare and label cartons.
• Remove finished goods from the production line.
• Identify and remove auto-splices as required.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure product standards are met.
• Assist with equipment changeovers and production setups.
• Replenish production supplies as needed.
• Maintain press cleanliness and an organized work area.
• Perform additional manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and work with production equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive bending, twisting, and physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures.
• Previous manufacturing or printing press experience is a plus.
