Warehouse--Receiver

Located in North Charleston, SC

Salary: 20.00-24.00

Position Summary

The Warehouse Receiver will be responsible for receiving inbound shipments of appliances, ensuring product accuracy, maintaining inventory records, and organizing stock within the facility. This role requires effective use of warehouse management software, safe equipment handling, and clear communication with the warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments of appliances and related products

• Inspect incoming products for damage, accuracy, and quality

• Utilize warehouse ERP or inventory software to input and track stock

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely

• Organize, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations

• Prepare inventory reports and assist with cycle counts as needed

• Communicate discrepancies or damages to management promptly

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse receiving experience required (appliance or large goods preferred)

• Strong computer skills with warehouse or inventory systems experience

• Certified forklift operator (or ability to obtain certification)

• Ability to lift and move heavy appliances safely up to 50 pounds and more assisted 

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of appliance brands, parts, and SKU categories

• Experience with shipping/receiving documentation (BOL, packing lists, etc.)

Monday-Friday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Saturdays as needed
