• Read and understand work orders written in English, complete required documentation, and maintain accurate production records.
• Set up machines and select the appropriate tooling to produce the specified product.
• Load reels into machines using an overhead hoist and follow all applicable safety procedures.
• Reach, bend, stand, push, and maneuver heavy reels as required to load and operate machinery safely.
• Use basic hand tools, including cutters, a Kold-welder, knives, wrenches, brushes, screwdrivers, portable drills, Allen wrenches, and rulers.
• Set up, adjust, and change machine parts as needed to ensure the production of quality products.
• Monitor machine operation and report equipment problems, production concerns, or discrepancies in work orders to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through general housekeeping.
• Follow production instructions, quality standards, and established workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management based on production and operational needs.
