Production Worker - Recycling & Metal Sorting

Location: Medina, OH
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM (30-Minute Lunch)

Are you looking for a hands-on position with a consistent schedule and opportunities to stay active throughout the day? We are hiring a Production Worker / Recycling Associate to support daily metal sorting and recycling operations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, material handling, and contributing to environmentally responsible manufacturing and recycling processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Sort and organize scrap metal and recyclable materials
• Identify and separate different metal types according to processing requirements
• Lift, move, and handle materials safely throughout the workday
• Assist with material handling and recycling operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Support production and recycling goals as part of a team
• Inspect materials for quality and proper classification
• Perform general labor duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Safety-conscious mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• General labor, manufacturing, warehouse, recycling, landscaping, construction, or material handling experience is helpful but not required
