Production Lead (Food Manufacturing) - 1st Shift

Location: Medina, OH
Pay: $22-$25 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (Occasional Overtime)

Are you a hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside your team while driving production results? We are seeking a Production Lead to support daily operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a working lead position where you'll coach employees, maintain production goals, ensure food safety compliance, and step onto the production floor whenever needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet productivity, quality, food safety, and safety goals
• Provide direction, coaching, training, and support to production team members
• Communicate daily goals and expectations clearly to employees
• Monitor production performance and assist with workflow improvements
• Support onboarding and training of new hires
• Assist management with employee relations, performance feedback, and corrective actions
• Assign staff based on daily production needs
• Complete production reports, inventory tracking, and daily documentation
• Ensure sanitation procedures and food safety standards are consistently followed
• Jump in and assist with production work as needed to support the team and meet deadlines

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Food manufacturing leadership experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to coach employees and hold team members accountable
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to work alongside the team
• Reliable attendance and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
