Pay: $18.00+/hr.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift

Job Description: We are currently looking for a qualified General Labor for a company located in Hardeeville, SC. 

Responsibilities:

• Cut, bend, shape, and assemble reinforcing steel (rebar) according to work orders and specifications.

• Operate rebar cutting, bending, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

• Measure and prepare materials using tape measures and other measuring tools.

• Read and follow basic work orders, measurements, and fabrication instructions.

• Load, unload, sort, and organize steel materials and finished products.

• Assist with tying, bundling, stacking, and preparing rebar for shipment.

• Inspect finished materials for accuracy, quality, and defects.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment as authorized.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.

• Perform additional general labor and fabrication duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs as needed, using assistance or lifting equipment when appropriate.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Willingness to work around heavy steel materials, machinery, and fabrication equipment.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots.

• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when needed.
