Pay: $18.00+/hr.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift

Job Description: We are currently looking for a qualified Mold & Coremaker for a company located in Hardeeville, SC. 

Responsibilities:

• Clean and smooth molds, cores, and core boxes, and repair surface imperfections.
• Position cores into lower sections of molds and reassemble molds for pouring.
• Tend to machines that bond cope and drag together to form completed shell molds.
• Form and assemble slab cores around patterns, and position wire in mold sections to reinforce molds, using hand tools and glue.
• Cut spouts, runner holes, and sprue holes into molds.
• Operate ovens or furnaces to bake cores or to melt, skim, and flux metal.
• No specific prior training required for this position.
• Will train in foundry specific safety issues.
• Will train in industry specific business issues.
• Will train in machine operation specific issues.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read.
• Must be able to perform simple math computations.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to perform practical communication.
