Lead the Team That Keeps Production Moving

We are seeking an experienced Packing & Shipping Manager to oversee packing, warehouse, shipping, logistics, and inventory operations within our growing manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who has successfully managed shipping departments, warehouse teams, freight coordination, inventory movement, and customer deliveries in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, train, and develop packing and shipping personnel
• Schedule daily workloads and assign priorities based on production demands
• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance
• Conduct employee coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing development

Shipping & Logistics Operations

• Coordinate daily outbound shipments and customer deliveries
• Work closely with Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to meet shipping schedules
• Ensure products are packed, labeled, and prepared according to customer specifications
• Manage freight scheduling, carrier coordination, and shipment tracking
• Improve on-time delivery and shipping performance metrics

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Oversee inventory accuracy and material movement
• Coordinate staging of materials for shipment
• Maintain shipping documentation and inventory records
• Support warehouse organization and efficiency initiatives

Loading & Material Handling

• Supervise safe loading and unloading operations
• Coordinate forklift, crane, and material handling activities
• Verify packaging quality and shipment accuracy
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company standards

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and throughput
• Collaborate with operations teams to eliminate bottlenecks
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Support a culture focused on safety, accountability, and teamwork

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

✅ 5+ years of shipping, warehouse, logistics, distribution, packing, or supply chain experience

✅ Prior leadership experience managing warehouse, shipping, logistics, or production teams

✅ Experience in manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, metals, construction materials, glass, building products, or similar industries

✅ Proven experience coordinating deliveries, freight carriers, and shipping schedules

✅ Strong inventory control and warehouse operations experience

Physical Requirements
