Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This role involves receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to order specifications, ensuring products are properly protected, labeled, and prepared for shipment.
• 
  Verify order contents, quantities, and packaging requirements to maintain a high level of shipping accuracy.
• 
  Pack orders efficiently while meeting daily production and shipping deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• 
  Prepare pallets, cartons, and shipment documentation to ensure orders are ready for carrier pickup.
• 
  Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and report any discrepancies.
• 
  Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying merchandise and organizing inventory in designated locations.
• 
  Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stock rotation practices.
• 
  Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• 
  Follow all warehouse safety procedures and proper material handling practices.
• 
  Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient packing and shipping area.
• 
  Work closely with team members to ensure all customer orders are packed, processed, and shipped on time.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] frequently.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in varying warehouse conditions, including hot, cold, and dusty environments.

 

Work Hours:

 

- Full-time position. Hours may vary based on operational needs, with potential for overtime and weekend shifts.
