Position Overview

A company specializing in wire rope and rigging products is seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Helper to support daily production operations in La Mirada, CA.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing hands-on work, operating machinery, and handling wire rope materials. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Hand-splice wire rope used for rigging applications.

• Operate machinery to assist with production.

• Use hands and tools to manipulate and assemble wire rope materials.

• Pull, lift, and move materials as needed.

• Assist with daily shop and production activities.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow established production procedures and workplace safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, general labor, or a similar role is preferred.

• Comfortable working with hands and handling wire rope materials.

• Ability to learn and operate production machinery.

• Able to pull, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Ability to work the scheduled shift consistently.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent use of hands to grip, manipulate, and splice wire rope.

• Ability to pull, lift, and move materials as needed.

• Ability to stand and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
