About the Job
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local property management company in Olympia, WA, to hire an experienced Property Maintenance Technician for a 4-week temporary assignment.

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on technician who can keep the property running smoothly. This role involves a mix of repairs, preventive maintenance, and unit turnover work. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are important.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the property
• Respond to work orders and maintenance requests promptly
• Complete basic repairs
• Prepare units for turnover by cleaning, repairing, and inspecting them
• Maintain grounds, walkways, and common areas
• Inspect buildings and equipment, and report safety concerns
• Keep tools, equipment, and supplies organized and in safe working order
• Document completed work and materials used
• Communicate professionally with tenants, managers, and vendors
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

What You Bring:

• Hands-on repair or property maintenance experience
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and drywall skills
• Ability to lift [50]+ lbs
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work
• Positive, respectful, and professional demeanor
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
