Maintenance Technician

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Maintenance Technician position for a Tyler, TX area company! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. While we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

Pay: $17.93–$25.12 per hour, based on skills assessment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM or 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with frequent Saturdays.

Shift Differential: Additional $0.50–$0.75 per hour for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM, depending on the time of year.

In this role, you will:

• Work alongside Maintenance Mechanics to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify the source of mechanical breakdowns.

• Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Read and interpret complex blueprints, sketches, layouts, diagrams, and mechanical schematics.

• Assist with equipment repairs and adjustments to minimize downtime.

• Identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.

• Support routine and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical repair.

• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and diagnosing equipment breakdowns.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with Maintenance Mechanics.

• Flexibility to work second or third shift and frequent Saturdays.

• Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
