Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, operating a forklift safely, organizing inventory, and ensuring materials are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.

• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging products for delivery.

• Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, move, and store materials.

• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and documentation.

• Verify product quantities, inspect for damage, and report discrepancies.

• Organize warehouse inventory and maintain a clean, safe work area.

• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as needed.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.

• Work with team members to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.

• Prior shipping and receiving experience required.

• Demonstrated forklift operating experience required.

• Ability to read and understand shipping documents, labels, and packing slips.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as required.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, full-time.
