Journeyman Electrician (TDLR Required)

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Journeyman Electrician position for a Tyler, TX area company! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. In this role, you will:

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues during service calls.

• Install, repair, and maintain wiring, electrical panels, circuits, lighting, and other electrical systems.

• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and determine appropriate repairs.

• Communicate professionally with customers while providing quality service.

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Follow electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.

• Work independently or alongside other electricians to complete projects efficiently.

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Journeyman Electrician license preferred; candidates with electrical experience who are eager to learn and advance their skills may be considered.

• Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work.

• Strong electrical troubleshooting and service call experience.

• Active driver's license.

• Ability to pass a drug test and applicable background screening.

• Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and excellent customer service.

• Ability to work independently and interact professionally with customers.

• Dependability, strong work ethic, and willingness to continue learning.
