Express Employment Professionals is looking for a skilled Structural Steel Designer in St. Catharines. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire role requiring strong attention to detail, 5 years of experience with Revit, Tekla and Bluebeam, and extensive experience using Revit for structural steel design and detailing. This role is essential for producing high-quality 3D drawings and models that meet industry standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize Revit to create detailed 3D models of structural steel components
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs align with project requirements
- Prepare and modify construction documents, including schematics and drafting
- Conduct clash detection using Navisworks to identify potential issues before construction begins
- Assist in the development of project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
Skills for Success:
- Proficient in Revit with a strong background in structural steel detailing
- 5 years experience with Revit, Tekla and Bluebeam software
- Experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, MicroStation and SolidWorks
- Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination tasks
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices
- Ability to produce accurate schematics and detailed drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and solutions
Schedule: Day Shift (Mon - Friday), in office
Wage: $32.00 - $40.00/hour
