Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $24–$32/hour, based on experience

Additional Availability: Overtime, weekends, and on-call rotation as needed

 

Express Employment Professionals – South Fort Worth is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician II for a local manufacturer. This position focuses on troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems, completing preventive maintenance, and keeping manufacturing equipment running efficiently.

 

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, manifolds, hoses, and fittings.

• Read hydraulic schematics to diagnose pressure, flow, and temperature issues.

• Maintain and repair injection molding machines, steam presses, mills, die-cutting machines, and auxiliary equipment.

• Repair and replace bearings, gearboxes, couplings, belts, chains, and other mechanical components.

• Maintain pneumatic systems, compressed air, cooling water, and plant utilities.

• Troubleshoot basic electrical controls rated at 480V and below, including motors, sensors, limit switches, and relays.

• Complete preventive maintenance and document work, parts, and labor in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

• Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend repairs to reduce downtime.

• Assist with equipment installations, relocations, modifications, and basic facility repairs.

• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machining to make or modify parts.

• Help maintain spare-parts inventory and support entry-level technicians.

• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and plant safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair industrial hydraulic systems.

• Strong mechanical skills and hands-on experience with electrical and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical drawings and schematics.

• Experience using hand and power tools, multimeters, calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.

• Working knowledge of lockout/tagout and industrial safety practices.

• Basic computer skills for maintenance records, work orders, and parts lookup.

• Knowledge of basic repairs in an industrial or commercial setting.

• Availability for overtime, weekends, and on-call coverage as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding equipment, steam presses, mills, or die-cutting machinery.

• Experience with chillers, heaters, and temperature controllers.

• Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge.

• HVAC and plumbing experience.

• Technical training, an industrial maintenance or millwright apprenticeship, or hydraulic certification.

• Forklift certification or experience in an ISO-certified environment.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders or platforms throughout the shift.

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds; use lifting equipment or team assistance for heavier loads.

• Work around machinery, at heights, and in confined spaces.

• Work in an environment with noise, heat, hydraulic fluids, and lubricants.

• Use required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, and gloves.
