Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for an Industrial Maintenance Technician position for a Tyler, TX area manufacturing company! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. While we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.

• Maintain and service press brakes, shears, plasma tables, saws, welding equipment (manual and robotic), overhead cranes, and material-handling systems.

• Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.

• Help identify and resolve issues involving motor controls, sensors, and equipment malfunctions.

• Replace worn or defective components, including bearings, belts, motors, sensors, hoses, fittings, cylinders, valves, and gearboxes.

• Read and interpret basic schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals with guidance as needed.

• Assist experienced maintenance technicians with equipment repairs and installations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures.

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or mechanical repair preferred.

• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and preventative maintenance procedures.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.

• Willingness to learn troubleshooting techniques and work under supervision.

• Ability to read or learn to interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Dependability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to workplace safety.
