Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly experienced Bookkeeper for one of our valued clients. This is not an entry-level bookkeeping position. We are looking for a candidate with a strong accounting foundation who fully understands bookkeeping principles, account reconciliations, and financial records management.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and balance sheet accounts
• Accurately record and maintain financial transactions
• Review accounts for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Support accounting processes and month-end reporting activities
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

What We're Looking For

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits
• Proven experience performing reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Experience in a public accounting firm or bookkeeping service environment highly preferred
• Ability to analyze transactions and understand the accounting behind the entries
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
