Job Description

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Janitors/Custodians to join our team in Lower Manhattan. Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment. We have multiple openings and are looking for individuals who can start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform general janitorial and custodial duties
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Perform floor care as needed, including buffing and polishing
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Break down and dispose of cardboard and recyclable materials
• Clean common areas, hallways, entrances, and workspaces
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies
• Follow safety procedures and company cleaning standards
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of janitorial, custodial, porter, or cleaning experience is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
