Warehouse Associate / Sales Counter Backup
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Starting at $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

 

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join a plumbing supply team located in Naples! This position will primarily focus on daily warehouse operations, with cross-training provided to assist at the sales counter during busy periods or when additional coverage is needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and storing incoming inventory.
• Pick, pull, and prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory and keep warehouse materials organized.
• Operate a forklift to move and position materials, as needed.
• Assist with keeping the warehouse clean, orderly, and safe.
• Provide backup support at the sales counter during busy periods or when additional coverage is required.
• Learn to assist customers with basic product inquiries, order processing, and material requests.
• Use basic computer programs to enter information, look up products, and assist with inventory or order tracking.
• Work closely with warehouse and sales team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Follow company procedures and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and customer service.

 

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, or inventory experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience is strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and contribute to a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new responsibilities.
• Comfortable assisting customers and providing backup support at the sales counter when needed.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, lifting, and moving materials as required.
