Position Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. This position utilizes the plant's Quality Management System to ensure products meet customer expectations, address quality concerns, and implement effective solutions through root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes, maintain compliance, and support overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Development & Improvement: Develop, implement, and document process improvements to enhance quality and reliability. Serve as a quality project lead representative for new product introductions as assigned, and proactively identify and resolve production concerns.
- Documentation: Create and maintain process controls, inspection logs, visual work instructions, engineering change notices (ECNs), and other quality-related documentation.
- Quality Management: Maintain departmental procedures supporting ISO certification, participate in internal and external plant audits, and support internal corrective actions.
- Supplier Quality: Investigate quality issues identified during production or at customer locations. Communicate with suppliers regarding nonconforming materials and manage supplier corrective actions as needed.
- Problem Resolution: Respond to quality issues, apply root cause analysis tools, and collaborate with multiple departments to implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: Pay will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
