Mechanical Assembler

Pay: DOE
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to assemble heavy-duty mechanical equipment and components according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Assemble mechanical equipment and components using hand and power tools.
• Operate shop equipment, hoists, pallet jacks, grinders, and related tools.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with inventory, material handling, and general shop duties as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair assembly issues when necessary.
• Work independently and complete assigned tasks with little supervision.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing, maintenance, fabrication, automotive, or related industries.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work alone and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Stainless steel fabrication experience.
• OSHA or other safety certifications.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Valid driver's license.
