Temporary Delivery Driver

Position Summary
The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting electrical supplies and materials to customer job sites and business locations throughout the Helena area. This position ensures accurate, timely deliveries while providing professional customer service and maintaining company vehicle safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical products, supplies, and materials to customer locations.
• Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Verify delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures as required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe delivery vehicle.
• Assist with order staging, loading, and basic warehouse functions as needed.
• Follow all DOT, state, local, and company safety regulations.
• Communicate delivery status and any customer concerns to supervisors.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks when required.

Qualifications

• Valid Montana driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.
• Regular standing, walking, bending, and climbing in and out of delivery vehicles.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Work Environment

• Electrical supply warehouse and customer job sites.
• Exposure to varying weather, traffic, and construction site conditions.
• Fast-paced environment with daily delivery schedules and deadlines
